‘MA’ is a Japanese spatial concept in which an attempt is made to organize the void. ‘HAKU’ is the Japanese word for ‘white’ or ‘empty’. Together, HAKUMA emerges, which means ‘Only where there is nothing can something new arise.’ We feel this describes what HAKUMA is all about, having the courage to abandon the old in order to create something new.
We compensate more emissions than we produce by supporting environmentally friendly projects. Here you see which projects we are currently supporting.
You can shop HAKUMA online right here. For the time being, we send within Austria and to Germany only. In Austria, our drinks are available at most BILLA, MERKUR and SPAR stores. For info on availability in retail in foreign markets, please send a mail to office@hakuma.com.
Our 3 flavours differ in their caffeine content: HAKUMA ENERGY contains 32mg/100ml caffeine and wakes you up when others get tired. HAKUMA FOCUS contains nearly 20mg/100ml caffeine and ensures the right amount of concentration in case your to-do-list is longer than your day. HAKUMA REFRESH contains almost no caffeine and is the freshest temptation since thirst.

The dregs come from the micro-grind tea in HAKUMA. They are a natural byproduct of our process. We deliberately avoid artificial additives that are normally used to mask this. Just shake well and all's well.

Payment and shipping

The standard shipping fee is € 3.90 for Austria and € 4.90 for Germany.
Your order usually arrives in 1-3 working days. You will be notified as soon as the delivery is on its way and you can always keep an eye on it using the tracking code.

It depends a lot on timing. As soon as you order, the order is forwarded to our logistics partner and will be processed and dispatched as quickly as possible.
